Headed to Lausanne-Capetown October 12
It does not happen very often. 1979 and 1984 were the last two times. A global meeting of Christians is taking place in Cape Town, South Africa starting at the end of this week. It will run for a little over a week.
I am in charge of coordinating information from the conference to over 600 sites around the world in 91 countries. I will work with 16 people. So it will be a busy time (16 hour days are likely for me).
Pray for this conference 4500 delegates from around the world will attend. It is a chance to encourage the church world wide. That is what we hope will emerge from it, a renewed sense of the church's call. Keep you eyes open for reports starting next Sunday evening, when the conference begins.
