I have done another national TV interview. This one was with CNN about the end of time and Israel. It should appear sometime around Dec 15. I also did Janet Parshall's national radio show today on the nativity accounts in the gospels. That may be available on her web site. Wednesday morning is the Moody radio network at 8 AM Central. DTS will do another podcast on the Missing Gospels with Hall Harris, Dan Wallace and myself. It should be up at ther DTS site soon. Christmas is always a media heavy time of the year. I now have the edited manuscript for ACTS (BECNT) in hand. It is why I am not blogging more regularly. It is 1300 plus pages and this is the last major run through I have before it releases in the late summer, early fall of next year. It shoudl be aboit 900 prinited pages (shoprt compared to Luke). I get very picky about clarity and relevance at this stage of reading as well as nailing down the first century cultural context. Also the end of the semester is upon us, so grading is a priority (it goes with being a professor). One final story. I was speaking with some friends of mine at church yesterday and they told me those "missing gospels" came up in a conversation with some friends of theirs. My church friends remembered Thomas saying 114 and quoted it to their friends, evne showed it to them (The one where Jesus says that Mary has to become a male to get to heaven). They said the citation changed the tone of the conversation. So knowing this stuff can have an impact on conversations.
