I wonder if one aspect of healthy relationships is owning my own reactions in a given situation.  The chemistry between men and women is a mysterious thing...not there at all in many situations, but present in some.  For myself, being willing to "own" my own issues puts me in a better place to respond properly.  Sue Edward's and Kelley Matthew's book has a section on just that topic that is a good read.
