Biography

Gaye-Ellen Austin or (GEA) a.k.a. SonShine has a passion to train people to be successful Bible students, that they may teach others to teach yet others (2 Tim 2:15).

She taught 15 years in public schools and 12 years in a Christian school where she was coordinator of the NILD program for learning disabled students). She was a discussion leader for Bible Study Fellowship, and taught Precept upon Precept classes. At the current time she helps husband David, the Exec Direc with his bible.org ministry, and is currently the Volunteer Coordinator, Newsletter and Blog "ghost writer"; tutors new Sunday School teachers over skype; and is working on a curriculum on "how to study and execute your own study guides"; manages the Tapestry Blog with Sue Bohlin bible.org women; keeps minutes for both the Women's Exec Comm and the Children's MInistry.

David and Gaye-Ellen's son and family live in Atlanta where they are active in their church ministry. Her goal is to be a godly grandmother to a budding teenager thus fulfilling Ps 78:4 "but tell to the generation to come the praises of the Lord".
