2 Corinthians – Sept 5
This Pauline epistle, which defends his apostolic role is not as well known as many other Pauline letters. Among the more practical commentaries is the one by Scott Hafemann in the NIV application series.
This Pauline epistle, which defends his apostolic role is not as well known as many other Pauline letters. Among the more practical commentaries is the one by Scott Hafemann in the NIV application series. Other more technical works include Ralph Martin in the Word series, Margaret Thrall in the ICC, and Paul Barnett in the NICNT series. Ben Witherington has a volume combined with 1 Corinthians that is also quite useful. In the days ahead I will be discussing the emergent church movement as I am preparing to speak on it in Austin in a few weeks.

Harris
Have you seen Murray J. Harris’ NIGTC? If so, I’m curious how you think that compares to the ones you named.

What about Harris’s new commentary in the NITGC? It’s superb; better even than those you named, I think.
