Today marks five years of blogging on bible.org. The most popular story in that time was about the Jesus Family tomb, although the recent controversy about Rob Bell also ticked the reaction meter. Judas' gospel also was a popular discussion, as were some specific reactions to stories from Newsweek about Christianity and issues tied to homosexuality.

Today marks five years of blogging on bible.org. The most popular story in that time was about the Jesus Family tomb, although the recent controversy about Rob Bell also ticked the reaction meter. Judas' gospel also was a popular discussion, as were some specific reactions to stories from Newsweek about Christianity and issues tied to homosexuality.

It has been an interesting half decade. I am sure more interesting stories lay in the future. I hope the blog has been of some value to you. Thanks to all of those who took the time to respond and comment.

    Prof Bock,

    I really appreciate the effort you make to create blog posts that counter the flood of anti-Jesus material out there. You, and a few others, are making a big difference by countering the impact of Bart Ehrman's one-man attack on the Bible. That's why I have your blog listed on my blog and regularly point people toward your materials.

    I also enjoy having your insights on the regular "discoveries" in Israel that are popularized in a way that exploits people not familiar with biblical scholarship.

    Thanks for all you do in fighting for the cause of Christ!

    I am a somewhat recent follower of your blog, having only started just before the Rob Bell book review. But, I am hooked. I appreciate your carefully thoughout godly and Scriptural perspectives. I appreciate your fair analysis of the various subjects you tackle. Thank you.
