    As you read this post, perhaps your turkey is roasting in the oven. Maybe you just finished crimping the edges on your grandma’s apple pie. Perhaps you’ll whip potatoes into pillow-y clouds just before guests arrive. Today our bustle embodies all the feelings of fall. Our full schedules and full tables leave us feeling festive and sometimes a little frazzled too. Amidst all the gatherings and baked goods, it’s easy to forget what truly gives us joy.     The highlight of attending my husband’s 50th class reunion from West Point this May was reconnecting with classmates and hearing their stories. Many have been in significant contributory roles of service since graduation. Impressive was the ongoing commitment they have to the values they subscribed to as cadets upon entering the academy – “duty, honor and country”. Most significant was the continued dedication of many of the class of 1963 to following Christ.
