In the Greek Olympics, the wrestler that lost had their eyes put out; therefore, their vision was removed.  Similarly, the Christian that loses in wrestling with the devil will have their spiritual vision removed!

We are in a spiritual war and are engaged in WORD to world combat! (1)

For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the powers, against the world rulers of this darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavens. (Ephesians 6:12 NET)

But even if our gospel is veiled, it is veiled only to those who are perishing, among whom the god of this age has blinded the minds of those who do not believe so they would not see the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God.  (2 Corinthians 4:3-4 NET)

correcting opponents with gentleness. Perhaps God will grant them repentance and then knowledge of the truth and they will come to their senses and escape the devil's trap where they are held captive to do his will. (2 Timothy 2:25-26 NET)

Our perfect protection against the devil (1) is to keep ourselves in the Name of Jesus.

I am not asking you to take them out of the world, but that you keep them safe from the evil one. (John 17:15 NET)

I am no longer in the world, but they are in the world, and I am coming to you. Holy Father, keep them safe in your name that you have given me, so that they may be one just as we are one. (John 17:11 NET)

We keep ourselves in the Name of Jesus by daily putting on Christ Jesus! (1)

Then your light will shine like the sunrise; your restoration will quickly arrive; your godly behavior will go before you, and the LORD's splendor will be your rear guard. (Isaiah 58:8 NET)

Summary:

We are to be kept in the Name of Jesus! Put on Jesus every day, and you will live in Psalms 91 Protection! (1) That is, the evil one does not touch you!

We know that everyone fathered by God does not sin, but God protects the one he has fathered, and the evil one cannot touch him. (1 John 5:18 NET)

Prayer: (1)

I bind and cast the spirit of error out of me! I loose the Spirit of Truth in and through me. Jesus, you are the way the truth and the life no one comes to the Heavenly Father except by you!

We are from God; the person who knows God listens to us, but whoever is not from God does not listen to us. By this we know the Spirit of truth and the spirit of deceit. (1 John 4:6 NET)

Jesus replied, "I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. (John 14:6 NET)

I bind and cast the spirit of lawlessness – the spirit of sin – out of me! I loose the Spirit of Righteousness in and through me. Jesus, Sun of Righteousness, you were made my sin, and I was made Your righteousness!

You have loved righteousness and hated lawlessness. So God, your God, has anointed you over your companions with the oil of rejoicing." (Hebrews 1:9 NET)

Everyone who practices sin also practices lawlessness; indeed, sin is lawlessness. (1 John 3:4 NET)

For the kingdom of God does not consist of food and drink, but righteousness, peace, and joy in the Holy Spirit. (Romans 14:17 NET)

But for you who respect my name, the sun of vindication will rise with healing wings, and you will skip about like calves released from the stall. I bind and cast the spirit of confusion out of me! I loose the Spirit of Righteousness, Peace, and joy – the Kingdom of God – in and through me. Jesus, Prince of Peace, I have received Your peace that passes all understanding!

But if you have bitter jealousy and selfishness in your hearts, do not boast and tell lies against the truth. Such wisdom does not come from above but is earthly, natural, demonic. For where there is jealousy and selfishness, there is disorder and every evil practice. But the wisdom from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, accommodating, full of mercy and good fruit, impartial, and not hypocritical.  And the fruit that consists of righteousness is planted in peace among those who make peace. (James 3:14-18 NET)

for God is not characterized by disorder but by peace. As in all the churches of the saints, (1 Corinthians 14:33 NET)

"Peace I leave with you; my peace I give to you; I do not give it to you as the world does. Do not let your hearts be distressed or lacking in courage. (John 14:27 NET)

I bind and cast the spirit of timidity out of me! I loose the Spirit of Power, Love, and a Discipline – the Spirit of Faith – in and through me. Jesus, you are the author and perfecter of my faith!

For God did not give us a Spirit of fear but of power and love and self-control. (2 Timothy 1:7 NET)

I bind and cast the spirit of hopelessness – discouragement, depression, and despair – out of me! I loose the Spirit of Salvation in and through me. Jesus, my Savior, I thank you for Your great salvation!

that you were at that time without the Messiah, alienated from the citizenship of Israel and strangers to the covenants of promise, having no hope and without God in the world. (Ephesians 2:12 NET)

For he says, "I heard you at the acceptable time, and in the day of salvation I helped you." Look, now is the acceptable time; look, now is the day of salvation! (2 Corinthians 6:2 NET)

I bind and cast the spirit of prayerlessness out of me! I loose the Spirit of Grace and Supplication – the Spirit of Prayer and Praise – in and through me. Jesus, my intercessor, pray in and through me by the Holy Spirit!

as far as I am concerned, far be it from me to sin against the LORD by ceasing to pray for you! I will instruct you in the way that is good and upright. (1 Samuel 12:23 NET)

"I will pour out on the kingship of David and the population of Jerusalem a spirit of grace and supplication so that they will look to me, the one they have pierced. They will lament for him as one laments for an only son, and there will be a bitter cry for him like the bitter cry for a firstborn. (Zechariah 12:10 NET)

In the same way, the Spirit helps us in our weakness, for we do not know how we should pray, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us with inexpressible groanings.  27 And he who searches our hearts knows the mind of the Spirit, because the Spirit intercedes on behalf of the saints according to God's will. I bind and cast the spirit of selfishness out of me! I loose the Spirit of selflessness in and through me. Jesus, you are my rear guard by your Holy Spirit!

No, this is the kind of fast I want. I want you to remove the sinful chains, to tear away the ropes of the burdensome yoke, to set free the oppressed, and to break every burdensome yoke. I want you to share your food with the hungry and to provide shelter for homeless, oppressed people. When you see someone naked, clothe him! Don't turn your back on your own flesh and blood!  Then your light will shine like the sunrise; your restoration will quickly arrive; your godly behavior will go before you, and the LORD's splendor will be your rear guard. (Isaiah 58:6-8 NET)

In the same way, you who are younger, be subject to the elders. And all of you, clothe yourselves with humility toward one another, because God opposes the proud but gives grace to the humble.  And God will exalt you in due time, if you humble yourselves under his mighty hand  (1 Peter 5:5-6 NET)
