Back after All These Days: A Book to Note Dec 21

First of all, let me wish everyone a Merry Christmas season.

I have been away for a while. I had a full load this semester and several projects to complete, so the docket was full and the blog went silent. I am back now.

First of all, let me wish everyone a Merry Christmas season.

I have been away for a while. I had a full load this semester and several projects to complete, so the docket was full and the blog went silent. I am back now.

One of the key projects we completed was a multiple views book on Jesus. The Historical Jesus Five Views, edited by James Beilby and Paul Eddy for InterVarsity. In it you will see Robert Price, John Dominic Crossan, Luke Timothy Johnson James Dunn, and myself interacting on this much discussed subject. I think for those wanting an orientation to this discussion, it is a good way in.

I will have more on such topics down the road.

    Welcome Back
Glad to have you back. I checked out the book on InterVarsity’s web site and it looks good. I’ll put this one on my read list for 2010.
