When I looked at my Tapestry posts in order of popularity, they provided some insights into what interests readers. Of particular note was that my post on female masturbation had more than 10,000 hits.

 

At the time I wrote it, I found virtually nothing on the subject on the web from a Christian perspective. So clearly this is a topic about which people seek direction.

 

Here are my top ten posts. They reveal some trends in reader interest:

 

1. Women “Going Solo” Sexually  Lots of Christian leaders have sought in vain to find masturbation mentioned in the Bible. 

 

2. The Latest from Some Christian Thought Leaders  Sex. Movies. Social media. Church dropout rates for 20-somethings and other false stats—throw a bunch of Christian journalists together, and you’ll overhear them talking about all of these.

5. It’s Time to Plan for Halloween   All Hallows Eve, the eve of All Saints Day, is less than a month away. (Posts with holiday tie-ins are always popular.)
