Two Terrific Ministries in Jordan May 20

My time in Jordan is almost done. It has been a great time. The students are eager to learn and the issues here are fascinating. I have seen two ministries up close here.

My time in Jordan is almost done. It has been a great time. The students are eager to learn and the issues here are fascinating. I have seen two ministries up close here.

The school where I have been teaching Luke is the Jordan Evangelical Theological Seminary. It is located in two buildings. I have 17 students in the class. It has gone well. We have been able to discuss many theological issues, as well as hear what life is like here for Christians. It has been a great learning experience for me. The second ministry is for Arab women. It is called Arab Woman today. If you want to see what it involves, just check out this URL: www.awtministries.com. I met with their staff today for lunch. It was so encouraging to see how they are doing radio and internet to discuss issues relevant to this context. What made this so special is that my wife helped the founder of this ministry when her husband was at Dallas to get training. Now we see them both at work doing really well in their callings. Some of what they do is picked up in the local media here. So remember to pray for these labors of life and love.
